How these templates are written
- Neutral and ceremonial: no politics, no invented history and no quotations that could be misattributed. Facts come from the official sources linked on each page.
- Short: most scripts take one and a half to two and a half minutes – the host’s part of a programme, not a keynote.
- Easy to adapt: words in {curly brackets} are placeholders for your names and organisation; lines in [square brackets] are stage directions.
- Calm highlighting: only names, titles, dates, times and section headings are in red, so the speaker’s eye goes where it matters.
Writing your own? Start with how to write an MC script or opening speech examples, then turn it into cards with the cue card maker.
