Privacy Policy
Last updated: 1 October 2026
This policy explains what information CueCardConverter (cuecardconverter.com), an EventProgrammer product, processes when you use the website, and why.
Text you upload or paste
Word files are read in your browser. To create the cards, the extracted text is sent over an encrypted connection to our server function and to our AI provider, Anthropic, which returns the card layout. We do not store your text on our servers and do not use it for any other purpose. Anthropic processes the text on our behalf under its commercial terms; see Anthropic’s privacy policy.
Data stored in your browser
Your cards, settings, language choice and an offline copy of the application are stored in your browser (local storage and cache), so you can continue where you left off and keep working offline. This data stays on your device. You can delete it at any time by clearing this site’s data in your browser settings.
Hosting and server logs
The website is hosted by Vercel. When you visit it, technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the time of the request may be processed in server logs to deliver the site securely.
Fonts
Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts. To deliver them, your browser connects to Google’s servers, which receive your IP address.
Advertising
We use Google AdSense to show ads. Google and its partners may use cookies to show ads based on your previous visits to this and other websites. You can turn off personalised advertising in Google Ads Settings or opt out of some third-party vendors at aboutads.info. Where the law requires it, for example in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, we ask for your consent before personalised ads are shown. Learn how Google uses information from sites that use its services.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or Turkey’s Personal Data Protection Law, KVKK), you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal data about you and to object to its processing. Because we don’t keep your text or an account for you, most data exists only in your browser. For any request, contact us using the address below.
